March 21, 2022 – This is a Shakedown, Plain and Simple

I listened to the radio on Saturday and learned that “June…a Republican” is very happy with Joe Biden’s Build Back Better. Sure June, how about telling us your last name? And then last night I got to see Mark Kelly with his commercial on Fox News telling us how “independent” he is. Great Mark, what’s your voting record show? By the end of the day, I was so excited! The Dems are using dark money to run radio ads, Mark is spending his money on commercials, and we haven’t even turned in our signatures yet!  Wondering if we—the Pima County Republicans—have been successful? There’s your proof—and here’s some more.

Nationally

  • Despite Biden, 15 of the top 20 states for jobs recovered since the coronavirus pandemic began are led by Republican governors, and 17 of the top 20 states have Republican-controlled legislatures.
  • Under Biden, 33 states have hit new record high gas prices
  • Under Biden, inflation is at its highest in 40 years
  • Under Biden, 70% of Americans disapprove of his handling of gas prices and inflation

Arizona

  • Representative Andrade (D-Glendale) un-endorses Hobbs, switches to Marco Lopez
  • Governor Candidate Marco Lopez has financial ties to what’s considered the biggest international bribery case in history in his work with the former Mexican President
  • All Democrat Legislators support HB 2839 removing the elected status of Precinct Committeemen to minimize the grassroots work of the Republican Party and refuse reconsideration of the bill

Pima County

  • Here’s what keeps Pima County up at night—the Election Integrity bills before the 55th Legislature
  • Pima County received ONLY five applications for Elections Director after conducting a nation-wide search
  • The Elections Director selected from the five candidates is from Chesterfield County, Virginia, where in the last election out of 95 counties in the state, Chesterfield reported their results LAST
  • Pima County has been approved to move 2022 elections to ePoll books and voting centers, yet they have no project plan with milestones, tasks, time estimates, and a baseline critical path to ensure they meet the election date of August 2, 2022 (Elections Integrity meeting)
    • There does not appear to be a combined Master Plan (Recorder & Elections Dept) for a total revamp of Pima County elections
    • There is no overall Project Manager for the implementation of the new system
    • Could not answer questions regarding scheduled completion date vs plan date
    • Could not provide specifics on schedule for receipt of all equipment
    • Could not provide details on plan for system checkout and acceptance testing, including live testing
    • Recorder’s participation was in the review
  • The Pima County Democratic Party draws up a resolution against BOS Sharon Bronson because she “disrespected both Pima County Recorder Gabriella Cazares-Kelly, as well as Cazares-Kelly’s office staff”. Democrats don’t like the facts: “We have no Elections Director at this point, we have a new Recorder who has not had the experience and has all new staff members who have not had the experience of running an election,” said Bronson. All facts, all true.

City of Tucson

  • “We do have a new requirement to process paperwork for all workers. In addition to a copy of social security cards and emergency contact information, we’ll need a copy of Covid-19 vaccination cards.” Assistant City Clerk, City of Tucson – Democrats trying to keep Republicans out of the polling places
  • Mike Rankin, City Attorney, stated “prohibits employers from using a payment method that requires an employee to have a valid social security number. This provision {Prop 206} is in conflict with federal and state law.” So, is the City of Tucson breaking their own law?
  • We became aware of this on Tuesday (March 14). The Pima County Republican Party was on it immediately and contacted our Legislatures and reached out to the AZGOP. Additionally, we had the story:
  1. Put in the AZ Free News
  2. Which was picked up by the Gateway Pundit
  3. Contacted the Republican National Committee legal team
  4. Opened a complaint with the Attorney General Election Integrity Unit

It will not be difficult to explain to Pima County voters why voting Republican is the ONLY choice this cycle. Read on to get more to tell the voters. Join me in getting the message out.
