Happy New Year, Pima County!

New Beginnings
This year is going to be an amazing year for Republicans! As we start 2022, we are looking at new beginnings for much of Pima County. Our Legislative Districts will be changing, and we will have new beginnings with PCs merging in new LDs, new LD leaders, new candidates and opportunities to change Pima County representation in Congress, the State Legislature, and many school boards. We will still have seven (7) Legislative Districts in Pima County and while the majority of the districts lean D, the predominantly Republican areas will be represented by Republican LDs. For our precincts that will fall into the Democrat districts, we will work to turn them RED.

Continued Success Moving Forward
The Pima County Republican Party has had many successes in 2021. From our communication strategy, fundraising, updated website, PC recruitment, Campaign School for candidates and teams, PC events, Lincoln Day Dinner, Coat Drive, PC training, E-Academy classes, Trunk and Tusk program redesign, volunteer recruitment, office relocation and staffing, Trunk and Tusk Border Tour, AZGOP ExCom border tour and quarterly meeting, redistricting meeting turnout, election integrity team organization, organizing for poll workers, observers, watchers for 2022, community clean-ups, and stopping the elimination of many precincts has all taken place in 2021. Hundreds of people throughout the Pima County Republican family have been involved in these events, and we are eternally grateful for all your hard work.

Getting Stronger for a New Decade
President Trump will be in Florence, AZ, on January 15. Pima County has demonstrated to Arizona and President Trump that we found many anomalies in the 2020 election, and we are going to work to ensure that 2022 is a fair election. We need HUNDREDS of volunteers to work the polls. Our candidates need CAMPAIGN WORKERS. We will be asking for your help on WORKING AT THE POLLS, assisting with DEBATES, sharing our message on SOCIAL MEDIA, knocking on DOORS, TEXTING our voters, PHONE BANKING, assisting with MAILERS, attending COMMUNITY EVENTS and REGISTERING VOTERS, and putting up SIGNS. If you have been waiting to get involved, wait no longer! Contact your Legislative District Chairman and let them know what you are interested in doing.

We must start by all of us becoming ELECTED PRECINCT COMMITTEMEN. Make sure you have a list of Republicans in your precinct whom you can call on to sign your petition. You will need 10 signatures. Your Legislative District Chairs will make the petition forms available for you.

Winning Elections in 2022
I believe when you divide the Independents to R or D, we are going to see that Pima County is starting to lean RED. We are no longer satisfied with identity politics from the Mayor’s office or mask and vaccine mandates from the Board of Supervisors. The representatives that we send to Phoenix will be representing larger portions of RED Pima County and will be working for us and the needs of Pima County. This is a new decade. We can change the direction; join me.
