Joe Biden wants to know what Republicans stand for. Pima County Republicans stand for Americans and putting America first. We stand for a free market, secure borders, and free and clean elections; we support law enforcement and a strong defense. And we do something about it.

Tucson/Pima County Business
The Pima County Republican party stood with Tucson businesses against Proposition 206. We worked to put signs throughout the City of Tucson and Pima County—NO ON PROP 206. We continue to stand against the vaccine mandate and mask mandate that continues to be pushed by the Democrats on the Pima County Board of Supervisors, and we use our E-Stampede as a ‘Call to Action’ to mobilize the Precinct Committeemen and Pima County Republicans to support the free market and businesses’ opportunities to conduct business. We support our local business owners.

Secure Borders
Arizona has more border land (federal and state) than any other southern border state. Biden’s presidency has been marked by month after month of shocking levels of illegal immigrants at the southern border. In November of 2021, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reportedly apprehended more than 173,000 illegal immigrants crossing the southern border: a 140% increase over November 2020. There is no record that Biden has EVER been to the border. The Pima County Republican Party sponsored a border tour with Sheriff Mark Dannels in Cochise County in March of 2021 for our Trunk and Tusk members, and in April 2021, the Arizona Republican Party was hosted by Pima County for their quarterly meeting and a border tour. Our support of a secure border begins with an awareness of the crisis we are facing on the border in southern Arizona.

Free and Clean Elections
In December 2021, a canvass of 30 Pima County locations was conducted by Pima County Precinct Committeemen and Pima County Executive Committee members. Private Investigators assisted with the canvass. Chairman Shelley Kais presented the findings before a Legislative hearing conducted by State Senator Sonny Borelli on December 13. The findings were turned over to the Arizona Attorney General. Our Elections Integrity Task Force has worked diligently and is pleased to announce that the Pima County Republican Party will be inspecting the ES&S voting machines for modems and transmission technology prior to election day. Our Elections Integrity Task Force negotiated this proposal with the Elections Department of Pima County. We oppose the implementation of ePoll Books and Voting Centers in Pima County and will encourage the Board of Supervisors to reject this suppression of the voters in Pima County. Moving from 240 Precinct Polling Locations to 100 Voting Centers will create extensive travel distances to polling places, long lines, wait times, and increase the opportunity for inaccurate voter rolls with ePoll Books.

Support Law Enforcement
In May of 2021, the Pima County Republican Party recognized our law enforcement organizations throughout Pima County. Along with a Proclamation, we created a basket of treats for the officers of Pima County, “Who wear the badge and are selfless public servants putting themselves in harm’s way to keep us safe and ask that all citizens join us in giving these dedicated professionals the support and appreciation they deserve.”
It was an honor and a privilege for our Pima County Executive Committee to deliver the Proclamation and small token of our appreciation to ten (10) law enforcement organizations in Pima County. We will continue to stand with our law enforcement officers as they fight the surging crime and record-setting homicide rates in Tucson. The Pima County Republican Party will fight to elect Republicans to the City Council and Pima County Board of Supervisors who will support our law enforcement and restore public safety.

Strong Defense
Tragically, 13 U.S. service members were killed as a result of Biden’s disastrous decisions in Afghanistan. During the dignified transfer of these heroes at Dover Air Force Base, Biden looked at his watch multiple times. He left behind billions of dollars in U.S. military equipment–equipment now in enemy hands. Our U.S. Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, Airmen and our allied forces sacrificed so much for 20 years. The Pima County Republican Party supports our Airmen at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, our Arizona Air National Guard 162nd Wing, the Navy Operational Support Center Tucson, and neighboring soldiers at Fort Huachuca in Cochise County.

Yes Joe, the Republican party does stand for freedom and liberty. More important, we show it across the United States in our county parties and the action of every Republican Precinct Committeeman.
