August 22, 2022 – When Elephants Fight

They are Killing the Grass
“When elephants fight, it’s the grass that suffers.” This powerful and poignant proverb describes the suffering of we the people as the elected, selected, and domineering fight for power and control. Whether it is the

  • Administration’s 95 Executive Orders signed in the past 19 months,
  • the Congressional overreach in legislation which they call transformative, ideological, and progressive,
  • the military and government’s control over those whom they employ with required vaccinations and DEI indoctrination training,
  • state and local government’s shutdowns and health mandates which shutter business and suppress our freedom of religion, and intimidate us with our freedom of speech, or
  • political party leaders and rooky operatives jockeying for relevance and dominance,

it is the people who suffer. It’s the children who have been forced to mask up, stay home, suffer educational setbacks, miss out on once-in-a-lifetime events like proms and graduations who suffer. It’s the elderly who died alone in hospitals and old age homes without their loved ones by their sides. It’s the mentally ill, drug addicted homeless who wander aimlessly while city officials fight over solutions. It’s the unemployed and under-employed moms and dads who are giving up meals so their children can eat, and the elderly who are deciding between pharmaceuticals and food who suffer while our elected officials bought by special interests and paid off by corporations squander the tax dollars we send to the county, state, and feds.

Democrats Cleared the Grassy Fields for Republicans
In 2019 when Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) and Rashida Tlaib, both members of the Democratic Socialists of America and the “squad”, arrived in Washington DC, the Democrat party agenda moved to the left with workplace democracy, Medicare for All, tuition-free college, federal jobs guarantee, the Green New Deal and abolishing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). They wreaked havoc on their party and created a path forward for the Republicans to win back the House and the Senate in 2022.

And…the Elephants are Fighting
Senator Ted Cruz was speaking about party discipline on a talk show and how Democrats shore up their troops and get the job done. You don’t hear as much about the ‘squad’ anymore. Party discipline. Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema fell in line and Mark Kelly has been a line leader since winning his election! Party discipline. Arizona Democrats all voted for HB 2839 even though they didn’t want it because they knew Republicans didn’t want it MORE. Party discipline. You don’t have to go too far on social media to see the Republican elephants fighting each other. All for what?

Stop Killing the Grass
Republicans, you want something to do? You want to be relevant? You want to win elections? Stop fighting each other and fight for the values of the Republican Party. Stop believing all the foolishness that you see in the mass emails and social media and pick up the phone and find out what’s true and what’s not.

As for me, I am going to continue to fight for what’s important. To me that is my country, my state, and my county. I am going to stay focused on how the Democrats are destroying our country and not how operatives are attempting to destroy our party. I will work for:

  • The 7,600 ICE agents who the Biden Administration erased their union leaving them without a collective bargaining agreement or union representation. Biden gets one step closer to eliminating ICE. Biden is UNION BUSTING – a step toward defunding law enforcement. Remember, this is what the SQUAD wanted, and Biden is paying them off.

“There is no doubt that ICE and DHS leadership worked in unison with corrupt union bosses to make this happen. DHS and AFGE leadership both wanted desperately to silence ICE Council whistleblowers. Without a union, it’s doubtful those whistleblowers will have jobs much longer.”   –Chris Crane President of the National ICE Council

  • Putting pressure on the 7th floor of the FBI and fighting for the President and Mrs. Trump
  • Ensuring that groups like Vot-ER aren’t registering voters and harvesting ballots in hospitals and community health clinics
  • Finding out how many of the 67.3% of Pima County voters who didn’t vote are Republican and right-leaning independents and make sure they vote for Republicans in November.

Join me.  There’s a lot of real work to do for the Republicans of Pima County.
